8 Years in Ranchi – From a Newbie to Calling It Home

8 years!! Since I landed in Ranchi for the first time.
✨ My first flight, first time stepping into a completely unknown place, and into a new family.
Until then, I had only heard of Ranchi because of Dhoni! 😎

Fast forward to now — in these years, we lived through a pandemic, raised a little baby, and grew stronger together. 🥰

Coming from a developed town in Tamil Nadu, moving to what was (by name) an underdeveloped small city, I feel proud of myself. I look back and wonder how well I crossed that phase. 💪

Though Ranchi is a state capital, back in 2017 it felt like a small town from TN.
But now, I completely agree – it’s developing fast! 🚴‍♀️
More lights, better roads, new places… Ranchi is slowly turning into a modern city, just like back home.

Me and Shiv Tharun have witnessed both sides of this city —
its calm, its chaos, and its changes.
And through it all, life taught us so much.
Now, I truly feel – I can survive anywhere! 😜✅

Ranchi will always have my heart
